Our first featured hunt on the new website is our granddaughter Montana Lynn Aiuppy. She is eleven years old and has a story to tell. Her story starts like most her age, No Patience! Montana and her dad went out this afternoon and got in the tree stand and did not have to wait very long, about 40 minutes into it, she saw the deer. Dad thought it would sure be a doe, but NO, she whispered "Dad it has horns". She shot and it dropped in its tracks. The buck was about 50 yards out and she shot it with a 243, that Papa Tom had won at the DU banquet this year. She started crying with excitement. Dad could not have been more proud! "Great Job Little Girl".
We are back on here the next day with another deer shot by this granddaughter.
Montana has had a very successful youth hunt, she shot this doe after sitting a little longer this time, about 2 hours. Her and her dad were sitting in a natural ground blind. Once again she dropped it in its tracks.
